Olivier Casse is a Belgian born artist with an international education and background, which has inspired him to observe the similarities and differences that exist in cultures. Olivier has been teaching at the university level since 2009 and has experience in studio art courses, of all levels, as well as art appreciation. He is an Adjunct Professor of Studio Art at New World school of the Arts College and Miami Dade College. He received his Master of Fine Art Degree from Miami International University of Art and Design, and his Bachelor of Fine Art from Maryland Institute College of Art. Olivier furthered his education by studying 19th century academic traditions at the Florence Academy of Art and with artist Anthony Ryder. This classical training provided him the tools and techniques to construct within complex visual realms. Olivier Casse is a painter and sculptor who is interested in figurative work that explores physical expression as a contributing factor in the definition of our culture. His inspiration comes from observation of the physical world. The journey of painting from life is challenged at every stage and reveals the impressions of his experiences. Olivier Casse has exhibited internationally, and his works are held in private and public collections.
