New World School of the Arts depends upon financial support from friends, foundations, corporations, and alumni to maintain its position as a leader in the performing and visual arts. In helping New World you are supporting an artistic meritocracy where students are selected solely on the basis of their talents, through auditions and portfolio reviews. Our gifted students mirror South Florida's ethnic and economic diversity. Although New World has only been training young artists since 1987, it is one of the most prestigious arts conservatories in the nation.

Your gift in any amount is needed and appreciated. Annual contributions to New World are vital to cultivate our next generation of artists and cultural leaders. Your gifts support our school programs as well as helps pay travel expenses for our students who compete around the country, to replace and improve theatrical equipment, costumes, musical scores and musical instruments - essential extras unavailable without donated funds.

  • Your gift of $15,000 or more will start a Named College Scholarship. These funds are invested in highly liquid investments and are fully expendable.
  • Your gift of $25,000 creates an Endowed Named Scholarship. All funds in this category are invested in perpetuity
  • Your gift of $75,000 a year for five years will create a Talented Student in the Arts Initiative (TSAI) formerly known as the Doris Duke/Surdna grant. Thanks to a matching grant from the Doris Duke Foundation, your gift will help New World build a $1.5 million visiting artist endowed fund to bring artistic legends like the Martha Graham Company to teach and perform.
