Stirring One-Person Shows highlight theatrical genius of Theater BFA Candidates
The three programs, A, B and C will be held at the Louise O. Gerrits Theater, 25 NE 2 Street, 8th floor, downtown Miami.

Representative of the fourteen shows are: Mary Sunshine by Ashley Chang is about a girl who is too smart for her own good yet seeks approval on a daily basis. Her self-doubt leads into her tragic flaw of being her own worst enemy. COCKROACH CONFESSIONS by Armando Diaz: A needle, a crucifix or a joint. For the past twenty-one years David Kwiat has been the coordinator of the One Festival. He is a professor in the Theater Division at NWSA and has performed with numerous local and national theater companies as well as having performed his own one-person show; John Barrymore: Confessions of an Actor in London, the Edinburgh International Festival and well as throughout the United States. He also received the Carbonell Award for “Best Actor” as well as “Best Supporting Actor.”
