Rising Stars Alumnus Award Recipients

Each year, New World School of the Arts hosts Rising Stars, a Broadway-style production that highlights the abilities of more than 200 students. This vibrant event includes a selection of meticulously curated preforming arts excerpts and scenes presented by both high school and college students, celebrating their artistic achievements over the academic year. A key feature of the evening is the NWSA Rising Stars Alumnus Award, which honors a notable graduate who has made significant contributions to their profession in the arts.

Additionally, the showcase includes the Rising Stars Exhibition, an innovative visual arts display that showcases the work of students across various disciplines, including painting, drawing, photography, visual technology, sculpture, graphic design, and installations. This significant community event presents a wide array of artistic expressions, offering attendees a rich experience of the burgeoning talents of young artists in our community.
