Each year, New World School of the Arts recognizes a distinguished graduate from its high school or college program with the Rising Stars Alumnus Award, celebrating their impactful contributions to the arts. This esteemed accolade is awarded during Rising Stars, NWSA’s artistic showcase and signature fundraising event, where the honoree takes the stage to share insights and inspire the next generation of artists. As we commemorate the 40th Anniversary of New World School of the Arts, we take pride in honoring these remarkable individuals who continue to illuminate the artistic landscape of our community and beyond.
History
Rising Stars
Each year, New World School of the Arts hosts Rising Stars, a Broadway-style production that highlights the abilities of more than 200 students.
This vibrant event includes a selection of meticulously curated preforming arts excerpts and scenes presented by both high school and college students, celebrating their artistic achievements over the academic year.
