Richard A. Klein, Founding Provost of New World School of the Arts, was among the visionaries who helped establish NWSA, South Florida’s premier arts conservatory. Through his strong leadership, unique expertise as an educator, and intimate knowledge of the arts, Mr. Klein’s vision would lead NWSA to national recognition and many of its alumni to artistic success.

In 1987, Mr. Klein said to the first students of NWSA - “As the first class of New World School of the Arts your progress will be encouraged by the wonderfully supportive Miami community and monitored by more than your teachers.”

You represent the community of support that helps talented young students in the arts the opportunity to achieve their dreams through their studies at NWSA.

To celebrate Mr. Klein’s extraordinary life and the powerful legacy he has left in arts education in South Florida and beyond, we invite you make a donation to the New World School of the Arts: Richard & Rhoda Klein Endowment Scholarship Fund, in his memory.
