Nabila Zoraya Santa-Cristo was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1987. She received an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013, where she was awarded a full tuition scholarship to pursue a Masters in painting and drawing. In 2009 Nabila received her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and in 2013 she received the SMFA Traveling Fellowship. Santa-Cristo has been included in various group exhibitions including Reading List at Knee Pits, Miami, FL and Simply the Best, at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA.
