NWSA perfomance

Friends of Theatre

Thank you for supporting the New World School of the Arts theatre division. Many of our graduates are performing in a variety of professional theatre throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. The same students you have so generously supported and have seen in many of our MainStage and Studio productions, have become respected professional actors. Your contribution to Friends of Theatre will continue to help provide our students with the very best in artistic development through training and performance opportunities, helping them live their passion and realize their artistic dreams.

Friends of Theatre Donation Options

This year for the first time, New World School of the Arts college theatre will participate in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). Your financial support will help us take twenty NWSA college theatre students to the Region IV Festival in Albany, GA to present Cyrano de Bergerac. In addition, five students will be able to participate in the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Competition! This scholarship provides recognition, honor, and financial assistance to outstanding student performers wishing to pursue further education. Regional competition nominees and awardees are also invited to compete in the KCACTF National Festival, all expenses paid, in Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center in April, 2024.
